The study of electronic music history is investigated from the 1850s until now. In this course students will learn about its development overtime with audio examples from each period. Philosophy of each genre of electronic music will be investigated with their contemporary counterparts in other disciplines of arts and technology that includes the modern notation methods such as graphic scoring and electroacoustic notation will be studied, reviewing important works through history of electronic music literacy.
